The Department of Mathematics has over 100 faculty and staff members. Among them, 35 are academic personnel, including 24 teaching and research staff and 11 teaching staff. In addition, it now has 17 postdoctoral researchers and seven administrative staff.

The Department of Physics now has approximately 200 faculty and staff members. Among them, 56 are academic personnel, including 33 teaching and research staff, one teaching staff and 22 research staff. Moreover, there are 45 postdoctoral researchers and 8 administrative staff.

Currently, the Department of Chemistry has approximately 200 faculty and staff members. Among them, 52 are academic personnel, including 37 teaching and research staff, one teaching staff and 14 research staff. In addition, it has 10 research and teaching assistants and eight administrative staff.

The Department of Earth and Space Sciences currently has 30 faculty and staff members. Among them, 24 are academic personnel, including 16 teaching and research staff, and eight research staff. Besides, it has six administrative staff.

The Department of Statistics and Data Science has eight faculty and staff members. Among them, six are teaching and research staff. In addition, there are two administrative staff.

The Institute of Quantum Science and Engineering has 77 faculty and staff members. Among them, 36 are academic personnel, including four teaching and research staff, and 32 research staff. Besides, it has 15 administrative staff.

Currently, Shenzhen Grubbs Institute has established a research team that is mainly comprised of 12 visiting professors, 20 jointly appointed professors, 3 research assistant professors and 9 senior research scholars.

SUSTech International Center for Mathematics has established a research team that primarily consists of 5 jointly appointed professors, 6 visiting professors and one assistant researcher.
