Earlier this week, the Department of Biology at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held a special job fair at the Student Affairs Centre. The Department worked with the Employment Guidance Center and the Shenzhen Life Science and Biotechnology Association (LSBA).

Nearly 19 top biotech companies from around Shenzhen and China participated in the fair. Students studying in the Departments of Biology, Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering attended the fair. There were also many students from Shenzhen University, Peking University Graduate School and Tsinghua University Graduate School.

The job fair provided a chance for Shenzhen biological science enterprises to talk to graduates of biology and chemistry at SUSTech. It was an excellent chance to strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises to develop a talent pipeline.
